Who knew, right? Yeah, I'm a bad blogger. But thankfully, I've come to terms with it, & am learning to cope.
Anyway.
I'm never quite sure what to "blog" about, which is part of the reason that I rarely do. But I figure a movie review is as good a subject as any, seeing as I am, after all, a movie fuh-REAK. So here are the two most recent films I have viewed:
Exhibit A~ the Haunting in Connecticut.
Awful. Boring. Incredibly predictable. Big YAWN. I actually did fall asleep, trying to get through it.
Don't waste your time.
Exhibit B~ Quarantine.
Now, this has been on DVD for awhile, but I never did get around to watching it until tonight. And...
It was GOOD! Quite good, actually. It IS a remake, yes, & I have yet to see the original film that it is based upon. ["Rec," which was released in Spain in '07- and apparently won many awards & was borderline remarkable.] Perhaps if I had seen the original, I wouldn't be giving the American remake such a glowing review; who knows.
The point is.... I LOVE horror movies. And there are truly only two to three movies (roughly) that have ever actually been able to "scare" me in the slightest. But I have to admit, this is one of them.
Three stars, I'd say!
Anyway, that about wraps up my review. That'll be $500. Thank you & Goodnight. = )

Survey Time!
1.WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?
My dad used to say that he & my mom named me Erin after some girl on Happy Days, which I guess was a popular show back in the day. Not sure if it was the name of a character or an actress, but I'm pretty sure my dad was joking anyway, so I don't worry about it much. And I think Elizabeth is a family name? My aunt is named Mary Elizabeth, so I guess it is. = )

Dinkin Flicka.
So... I'm going to come right out with it:
The rumors are true- I am now 22 & 1/2. It happened on May 12th, at 12:31 AM, and honestly, it was a pretty big moment for me. I won't even bother sugar-coating it for anyone. Some serious stuff. But more importantly- I experienced a pretty monumental 'first' this past week. I was stung by a bee. Yes, for the very first time. Ever. And I have to say that it hurt alot more than I expected it would. But in a way, that's a good thing, because the overall experience didn't let me down, which I appreciate. In other news, American Idol ended this week, which I am still working on getting over. Our sweet baby, David Archuleta, did not win- which didn't surprise me in the least, since I'm psychic- leaving the winner's slot open for the disturbingly beautiful David R. Cook. Yes, I know his middle name, & yes, that fact does worry me a great deal. But thankfully, I've been able to come to terms with it. So... good for me, I guess. I can't help the fact that if he met me, he would propose to me within the first half-hour. Because if I could help it, I would. So... chew on that for awhile. Anyway, it is WAY past my bedtime, so I'll check back in when I feel like it. Take it sleazy, Friends.

Struggling Internet.
It figures that when I finally decide to get down to business & post on my blog, my already faulty internet decides to crap out completely. Nice. See, I've got a beautiful little laptop that I purchased in August, and for some unknown reason, I am not able to connect to my family's network here at home- even though we have a working router & everything. This didn't turn out to be a huge deal, though, seeing as I was able to connect to the unsecured, though not-too-shabby Actiontec, but now whoever I've been mooching off of with that has decided to block it from me. So that leaves me here on my parents' ancient desktop, which is quite the piece, but hey- it gets the good internet connection. And now that I've got all this goin' for me, I realize that I don't really have anything exciting to post anyway. Actually, that's not true- something pretty awesome happened just this past weekend. My dear friend Alli Ash got engaged. Go Alli. = ) She's pretty much one of my favorite people. No big deal. Speaking of my favorite people, how about an update on the Elders? Luke is nearing the end of his mission; he gets home in June. It'll be great to have him back here, but I keep reminding him to enjoy his last few months out there as much as he can, as they will go by quickly. I'm such a wise older sister. Seth flies out to Chile' a week from today, I believe. We're pretty excited for him. Well... that probably about wraps up this entry. As far as my life goes, nothing too groundbreaking has occured lately. I'm just keeping busy at the daycare, & am gonna start working at Eagleridge as well, probably next week. Good stuff and good times. Peace easy!

Ahem.
That was me clearing my throat. Well, here is my "blog". I got one of my own because it seems to be the thing to do these days. And I guess I couldn't blame anyone for wanting to know more about me. So, I'm not really sure how this whole thing works yet, but I'll catch on. Well... I guess that's all for now. Thanks for readin'!
